Fall Fair Parade

Last night, while Bonnie was still on shift, Isaac and I walked down to Main Street to take in the annual parade that takes place when the Fall Fair is on. We were down a little early to get a good spot, and so we went to Isaac's favourite Ice Cream shop, Hokum Boodles, for a dish of expensive ice cream. Bowl in hand, we staked out our spot and Isaac enjoyed his treat while we waited. Shortly thereafter the parade started (on time nonetheless), and we were treated to quite a show. At least that's what the people we were standing next to said. They said that usually the parade didn't last as long as this one (which lasted a good hour).

Isaac enjoyed waving at the different floats, the different people, the animals and was quite happy to tell them whenever they stopped in front of us, "Ok, you can go now." Having said that, he would wave them on. He quite enjoyed all the candy and treats he gathered and stuffed in my camera bag. It's like Halloween a few months early.
